Foo fighters - The Pretender

We as a class had to watch around 40 seconds of the Foo fighters - The pretender music video. Every time a shot would change, no matter how quick it was, we would draw it and write down how long the shot lasted. We then took pictures of each individual shots we drew and uploaded it into Adobe Premiere to make our animatic. A video of the actual song and the music video was put into the bottom right side of the animatic, so we could use the seconds to sync the music with the drawing timings.

We learnt how to use Adobe Premiere as well as how to precisely sync music to a video without the sound messing up. As some of the shots were about 1.5 seconds, which could have made it harder to sync the aniamtic with the music.

Editing a  music video is harder then editing a thriller. As with a thriller the video and sound is already attached together so its quicker and easier to edit. While with a music video the video and the sound is recorded separately. This means that the sound and video would have to be synced later while editing which is harder than editing a thriller.
